Editing away…

While I’m editing I realize things. (You tend to have A LOT of time to think!)

Like here, the wedding below selected my 8 hour package. The nice thing about being at a wedding 8 hours (as opposed to 6) is that I have more time to interact with the guests. Or in this case, the flower girl and ring bearer. :-)

I asked the flower girl her age and caught the ring bearer eating in the corner. Theses are the moments that might have been missed if I didn’t have the time.

Also, I realized that I love weddings that include kids! As you know, I’m not only a wedding photographer – I capture families all the time. So having kids at a wedding is like icing on the cake. There are just more candid fun moments to capture.

I’ve also realized how important it is to plan for couple photos during the “golden hour” which is usually (this time of year) right in the middle of the reception! Dash and Danielle were more than willing and the results were beautiful. (And in this photo, cute too!) See that golden light behind Danielle’s head. Those blurry circles are called bokeh and by definition is ” “the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light.” And in this photo I think it looks like glitter and if you’ve seen my iphone case you know how much I love gold glitter. :-)

Success!! Thank you. I will be in touch shortly!Error submitting form, please try again.
