My Work Weekend – Kylene Lynn Lancaster PA Photographer

It’s no surprise that most photographers have a flipped work week and work mainly on the weekend. This was very true for me this past weekend. From Friday to Monday I had a shoot every day! (Very thankful!) Here’s a preview of what it looked like…

This was my Friday:

I photographed a wedding at Franklin & Marshall and The Cork Factory Hotel. The couple met the first day of their freshman year at F&M and then met there again, 9 years later, to become husband and wife. I love this reaction when they first saw each other!

This was my Saturday: 

This cute family from DC was visiting Lancaster on vacation and contacted me to set up a session. Emi, who is 2 years old, speaks mainly Japanese and was a little unsure about getting her photo taken. I started to tickle her to get her to laugh and, not only did it work, she kept saying “do it again” in Japanese. Trust me, there is nothing cuter. Plus, she matched her shirt to her favorite stuffed animal! Come on!

This was my Sunday: 

I spent Sunday morning with 1 year old Will! (He has grown up!) After looking through the photos, I’m convinced Will should be a model baby in a catalog. He had breakfast, played with his piano and balls and made it all seem like the most fun ever. Posing perfectly and all! Will is a very happy baby and it made for a morning filled with lots of laughing.

This was my Monday:

I had a senior session with Jocelyn. We met at a park in a corporate complex and it was fun to walk around and find areas that worked for each outfit she brought. Jocelyn is going to college in North Carolina to play soccer (and learn, of course) so we had to include her “playing” soccer. I don’t do a lot of senior sessions but this one made me wish I did!
