Jye’s Hospital Session

Here’s the story of Jye’s birth. Jye is Jameson’s brother. When Jade, their mama, (yes, lots of cool J’s names!) told me she was pregnant again, she said she definitely wanted me to come to the hospital and record the moments surrounding Jye’s arrival just like I did with Jameson. Things needed to be fair, she explained (I loved that!) Jade was scheduled for a c-section in mid-March, so it was quite exciting when I got a text at 4:30am on Feb 24th – 2 weeks early! Now, for the moments!

It seems all births stories involve waiting for the news. Oh, Jade didn’t find out what she was having so that was a surprise.

Jameson came to wait, too!

Meet baby Jye! (His legs were a little bruised from the birth but he was perfectly okay!)

This one is a favorite of mine.

Newborn toes are soooo tiny.

Jameson was the first official visitor to greet his parents!

The next day I came back to capture more of newborn baby Jye.
