Aly & Kyle – Kylene Lynn Wedding Photography

Aly & Kyle’s Wedding Day Highlights:

Aly has AMAZING taste. From the dress, to the shoes, to the reception decor – it was all thoughtfully planned and carefully created (she’s crafty!) which resulted in the most beautiful vintage wedding. So impressive.

Everything took place at Lime Spring Farms and it’s gorgeous. The rose garden and huge painted barn were my favorite. It was the perfect place for an outdoor wedding.

Funniest wedding story: The wedding party was filled with fun, outgoing personalities and so a jumping photo seemed like a good idea. I had them jump twice and then the third time I might have really built it up and told everyone to make it the best jumping shot ever. Well, upon landing the best man starts shouting “I ripped my pants, I ripped my pants!!!” And at first, I thought he was joking (he’s a jokester) but OH NO IT WAS TRUE! Completely ripped and it was maybe half an hour before the ceremony. Everyone was laughing so hard we didn’t know what to do, but he ran off and they were able to fix them just in time. This became the joke of the day and even made it into his best man speech. You can see the actual jump that caused the rip below. I still can’t think of that moment without laughing.

You’ll also see a very tech-savvy flower girl below. She is a budding photographer and used her dad’s iphone to take photos of everything. She (and her sister) even joined us for my portrait time with Aly and Kyle and she was shooting away. It was especially funny when she mentioned she got a text message and that slowed down the photo taking a little. I think she might be my competition in a few years. ;-)
