I love being a photographer. Capturing the way a dad kisses his daughter’s cheek, the first moment a couple see each other on their wedding day, laughing at a one year old’s funny faces – all of it. When I bring my camera to my eye and look through the viewfinder, it’s my goal to make images of these very real, sometimes emotional, moments. And to do it artistically.
I post the images and I trust that they speak for themselves. I rarely discuss my style. But sometimes I wonder, do people really get it?
This past week I received three emails that confirmed, yes they do!
“I love your style of photography with close up shots that are not so posed!”
“We are so excited to have found you since we had our first daughter in Philly and have been searching for the “just right” person in Lancaster to capture our daughter’s first year!”
“We want to go ahead and book with you!!!!! We love your photos. There is no comparing them to anyone else’s and we would love for you to shoot our big day!”
So thank you. Thank you for embracing my style and for really getting it. I am so thankful to be able to do what I love, everyday.
